A House of EU Puppets

March 15, 2019

The House of Commons which is dominated by pro-EU MPs has betrayed the British people by voting against a No Deal Brexit. MPs rejected the UK withdrawing from the European Union without a deal by 321 to 278 votes. They have risked throwing the United Kingdom into further Brexit paralysis.

Under UK statue law the United Kingdom must leave the European Union on the 29th March. Any attempt to delay, extend or abort Britain's withdrawal from the European Union would plunge the UK into a constitutional crisis and would mean that Theresa May would be breaking the law. It shows contempt for the mandate given by the British people - every single Labour and Tory MP was elected on a manifesto promise for a clean Brexit.

If the pro-EU politicians force the British people into a second divisive and undemocratic referendum then Britain can never again claim to be a bastion of Democracy, Freedom of Speech or Law.

The British people are already deeply skeptical and frustrated with the government's handling of the Brexit negotiations, pro-EU MPs voting down a 'No Deal Brexit' motion have alienated an already disenfranchised population. Theresa May's government must act now, prepare for a clean exit from the EU on the 29 March, leave the Single Market & Customs Union, leave the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice, on World Trade Organisation (WTO) terms and regain our seat at the WTO.

The political chaos is a result of a large proportion of Remainer Liberal Democrat, Labour and Conservative MPs that never really accepted the will of the British people. An illiberal liberal elite trying to overturn a democratic mandate and the very promises they were elected on. There was never any talk of any negotiated deals; "no deal is better than a bad deal" Theresa May once promised us. The Brexit deadlock must end, and the will of the people needs to be enacted. A swift, clean and immediate exit from the European Union without a deal under WTO terms.
